Coptic Binding Journal Workshop (3 Hours)

Join us for a fun and hands-on introduction to Coptic binding, a beautiful bookbinding technique known for its exposed spine stitching and its ability to open completely flat. This makes it perfect for pattern notes, swatch records, project planning, and creative journaling.

In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn the full process of creating your own handmade journal from start to finish. We’ll cover how to fold and assemble pages into signatures, prepare covers, punch sewing holes, and stitch everything together using the classic Coptic sewing method.

This class is beginner-friendly and designed to help you leave with a finished book that lies flat when open for easy writing and reference while you craft.
