Beginner Spinning Class

In this beginner spinning workshop, students will learn basic spinning skills, including fiber choice, drafting, spinning singles using the short draw method, and how to adjust the tension & uptake functions on the spinning wheel. Twist ratio, ply, and creating various yarn weights will also be discussed. 100g of fiber is included with the class fee.

Cost:$125, bring your own spinning wheel or if you don’t have one, there are 4 spinning wheels available to rent for the workshop-$30 each. Please call 615-440-2558 to reserve your wheel.

We will cancel the class if there are less than 3 people registered by Wed., April 9.
