The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd

The Untold Story of a Colonial Visionary

Set in the lush, dangerous landscape of 1730s South Carolina, The Indigo Girl is a fictionalized account of the incredible true story of Eliza Lucas Pinckney and her role in transforming indigo into one of America’s first major cash crops.

In this meeting, we’ll chat about the book, share our thoughts, and enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow readers and makers. Bring your current knitting, crochet, or fiber project and settle in for good conversation and creativity.

Come ready to discuss the book and enjoy an evening of books, yarn, and community.

The book club meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:00–7:30 PM. Each person is responsible for getting their own book.

Attendance is free, but please sign up so we’ll know how many will be attending and participants are responsible for obtaining their own copy of the book.
