Project Linus Group, first Sat. of the month, 10:30-12:00

We are excited to announce that we’re starting a Project Linus group, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Project Linus is a wonderful organization that provides handmade blankets to children in need, and we want to help make a positive impact in our community.

Whether you’re experienced or just beginning we welcome all skill levels! We plan to craft blanket squares and join them to make blankets. This way many hands doing even a small bit will join together into making gifts for children. We will be:

• Making squares: Knit or crochet 12 x 12 squares using Project Linus’s guidelines.
• Meeting together: Monthly meetings for fun and blanket assembly. A Blanket Bee!
• Earning Bag Bling:  Get a little prize for each square donated.

This is a great opportunity to give back while connecting with others who care about the cause.

If you’re interested in joining us, we are meeting the first Saturday every month, 10:30-12:00 to work on blankets. This is for knitters,  crocheters. We’re working on weaving ideas!
